Professor Samantha Johnson, Professor of Child Development from the University of Leicester and her research team have been researching the effects of preterm births, they have designed an eLearning resource for teachers (you can find the Link to below) Samantha is going to do a presentation for us in the Autumn so watch this space for more information.

Did you know that if you or your child have a disability and receive benefits you may be entitled to apply for a CEA Card which is a national scheme that allows a guest to receive complimentary ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema?

Art with Heart the theatre company are doing an ADHD production called ‘Declaration’.

They have been given funding from arts councils and the lottery to promote ADHD.

They are funding a Multi Agency training here at our centre on Tuesday 9th October 2018.

It is one off opportunity for a free place as we have been funded by the arts council.

 

The places are limited.

We have put in a bid for funding of between £10,001 to £25,000 to run Get a Grip courses for young people 16+. Please follow the link below to vote for our project - we need as many votes as possible, so please share this with as many people as possible and encourage them to vote. This would make a big difference to ADHD Solutions and the young people we support.

An interactive Google Map has been added to the ADHDSolutions.org web site. This can be seen on the Community Centre Hire page, and can be added to any other page as required.

Because it is a Google map, the viewer can zoom to any level of detail, use the mouse to re-centre the map, and view in Map or Satellite mode.
