Summer Activities: 2016 in Hinckley, Derbyshire, Quorn and Beaumanor Hall

During July and August we provide a summer programme of activities at these great venues.

In 2015, more than 150 different children and young people with ADHD took the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends - whilst having a lot of fun! Activities included kayaking, canoeing, high ropes, zip wire, abseiling, raft building and the climbing wall.

For many children, it's the first time they've been able to take part in activities like these - and it's fantastic to see their enthusiasm and support for one another.

We invite all children and young people on our mailing list to take part (although they must be at least 8 years of age). We aim for most (depending on demand!) to take part in at least two of their favourite activities.

Other Summer Activities

In addition to our outdoor pursuits activities, we also have a programme of activities at St Gabriel's Community Centre. Activities include things like: arts and crafts, dance workshops, sports, team games, the adventure playground (weather permitting) games (table football, air hockey, pool, Wii) and lots more. Children will need to be at least 8 years of age to participate.

Again, if you are on our mailing list, you'll be sent details of these and all our activities.

If you'd like to be included on our mailing list, so that you'll receive monthly updates about all we do, please get in touch.
